Chandu Champion box office collection day 5: Kartik Aaryan’s film loses to Munjya’s impressive run

The Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion collected Rs 5 crore on Monday, showing a 15 per cent increase from its day one collections but a 50 per cent drop from its Sunday earnings, according to Box Office India. This trend is weaker compared to Munjya, which is currently outperforming at the box office. The film also benefited from the Eid holiday boost.

According to Sacnilk, Chandu Champion is expected to collect Rs 3.25 crore on Tuesday.

So far, Chandu Champion has collected nearly Rs 29.75 crore in its first five days. Depending on Tuesday’s drop, the film is projected to achieve around Rs 35 crore by the end of its first week. Despite the holiday boost, the Monday trend indicates that the film might struggle to maintain momentum in the coming days.

Munjya, starring Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh, continued its impressive run, collecting over Rs 5.25 crore on the Eid holiday. This marks a stronger performance compared to Chandu Champion, with Munjya having collected over Rs 60 crore in 11 days, solidifying its status as a super hit.

While Chandu Champion showed moderate growth, Munjya has clearly outperformed, with its Eid holiday collection surpassing that of the Kabir Khan directorial.
