Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and the legendary Amitabh Bachchan are all what anyone is talking about on the internet today after their cute moments at the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ pre-release event in Mumbai went viral.
A trending video from the event has been making rounds on social media, showcasing a adorable interaction between Amitabh and Prabhas.
The video captures Bachchan playfully teasing Prabhas after he beat the veteran to offer pregnant Deepika a hand as she made her way up the stairs.
The heartwarming moment occurred when Deepika was seen heading to her seat. On seeing the actress hesitating, Prabhas stepped up and extended his hand for support. As it turns out, Bachchan was also making his way to the beauty to offer her support. On seeing that Prabhas beat him to it, he simply embraced him from behind and whispered something in his ear that made him laugh.
In another viral video, Bachchan, who previously starred with DP in ‘Piku’ and ‘Brahmastra’, was seen assisting the pregnant actress off the stage. Bachchan, noticing her walking down the stairs, swiftly moves towards her to offer his hand. Big B was even seen playfully offering Prabhas the opportunity to assist her down the stairs, to which the actor laughed off and gestured him to go ahead.
Fans couldn’t help but gush over the new on-screen jodi Deepika and Prabhas. Their cute moments together had fans eager to see their chemistry on the big screen. One fan tweeted, “You guys I did not expect that prabhas and deepika would have this kinda of chemistry like they’re not even doing anything but still.”
Fans also declared that Prabhas and Bachchan taking turns to help Deepika up and down the stage was the “cutest moment of the day.”
Black seemed to be the dress code for the evening as Deepika, and her co-stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, all opted for black outfits. Ahead of the pre-release gathering, the mommy-to-be shared glimpses of her baby bump, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.
Deepika, who is expecting her first child with husband Ranveer Singh, announced her pregnancy in March this year and is expecting the arrival of the baby in September.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a post-apocalyptic film inspired by Hindu scriptures, set in the year 2898 AD. The film that is touted to be one of the most expensive films ever made, is also one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The film releases in theatres on June 27.
